Fashion Brands Giving Back Right Now – Variety – Variety

While the last two months and counting have been among the most uncertain for many in this lifetime, one thing is clear: Many human beings want to help. Fashion brands of all kinds, from startups to household names are opening up their hearts, wallets and production facilities in the spirit of giving. Despite bankruptcies, furloughs and unprecedented loss of capital, brands are partnering with charities and many are also producing masks, with the goal to try and make the world a better place.  Retailers are using this time to reimagine how to speak to the consumer in an ever-changing marketplace.

Many have partnered with charities including: The Covid Relief fund, The Frontline Strong Relief Fund, United Way, Feed America and Jessica Seinfeld’s Good +Crisis Fund, to name a few. If the new trend in retail consumerism is giving back to mankind, then perhaps we can all agree that something positive has emerged from a global pandemic.
