From July 6 to July 8, couture houses will be exhibiting clothing and ideas in presentations — mostly in the form of short films. The coronavirus pandemic and global financial crisis has stressed the industry to the core, disrupting supply chains, workforces and travel. And yet the show, of sorts, goes on. We’ll be streaming the shows right here so we can all enjoy them in safety, beginning Monday morning.
Here’s some highlights of what we expect this week:
Iris van Herpen (Noon CET)
Dior (2:30 CET)
Giambattista Valli (7:30 CET)
Chanel (Noon CET)
Maison Margiela (10 a.m. CET)
Viktor & Rolf (4 p.m. CET)
Valentino — with a real live audience! (6 p.m. CET)
For those who hate time zones: London is subtract one hour; New York is subtract six hours; California is subtract nine hours.
