Edinson Cavani scored the type of poacher’s goal that Manchester United’s other forwards do not often get. Cavani was always trying to find the best place to convert a cross and sniffing a mistake, which arrived when Areola fumbled the ball. He became the first United player to score each of their first four Premier League goals for the club on the road. Cavani darted into the area later and was denied a headed goal by a plunging save from Areola. The Uruguayan, who turns 34 next month, has five goals for United and 358 in his club career.
